One theory regarding this site is that this was a stone circle
which was later used to create a circular homestead

The other stones at The Braaid

There are 2 parallel walls of stones, the nearest of  which contains on the inside vertical stones in rows. The nearest "wall" appears to have a burial chamber in it, which makes it unlikely that these were house walls! Beyond can be seen the "Boat Shaped House" (?)
