This is a massive Iron Age bank and ditch. It defends the western portion of the Lhergyrhenny Ridge, probably from one valley bottom right over to the other.

Visitor Information:

Drive down Sulby Glen for 2 miles from The Bungalow (T.T. Course) (A18) or drive up Sulby Glen for 5 miles from Sulby Crossroads (T.T. Course) (A3). This site is about half a mile above the Car Park for the Sulby Reservoir, and is bisected by the Main Road (A14)

Translation/Derivation of name:

debatable!! possibly "The Spring Hedge".
Perhaps the area was used for Spring Grazing of sheep??

Cleigh    =    Hedge
Arragh   =    Spring (Season)

although JJ Kneen has

Cleigh = Rampart
Arragh = Rampart
